The fair is over...

What a week! I took a week off from work to participate in the county fair. My three daughters were in heaven, they loved every bit of it! I experienced many memorable moments. One of the most would have to be when my youngest daughter was showing her pig, Rusty. She was moved to the 3rd/4th place pen and the judge was nolonger watching her. Poor Rusty grew tired of circling the ring. He decided it was time to lay down right in front of the family. He rooted his nose in the wood chips and deep down into the dirt. He laid there resting. Anna kept right with him as she watched everyone else. After a few minutes Rusty decided to get up. Grandma told Anna to brush off his nose because it was dirty. Anna rubbed her nose...we all laughed. Grandma told her again...she rubbed her nose again, finally realizing it was Rusty's nose and not hers!

Next would have to be the Ag Olympics. The girls were on a team of 4 girls. They had matching USA t-shirts. Everytime they went up to participate in another event, we would chant USA, USA...I am sure we made a GREAT impression. It was great fun. They did not win, but came in 6th place.

We cannot wait until next years fair!
